Signs of spring and family time...

It looks like the snow is finally gone (again) and this weekend I went out to my grandfathers to spend some family time and take pictures of the beautiful flowers.

Bluebells caught on both sides of the fence in my grandpa's yard.

I stopped out at the lake and walked around before heading the rest of the way out to grandpa's. Above is one of the cool scenes looking back towards the hill before the water.

The leaves are all out and even some of the little flowers that have wandered are beginning to bloom. We aren't sure where this little blue bell by the steps came from... there aren't any even on that side of the house.

The blueberry bush is full of flowers (those white things are the blueberry flowers)

After a full day of taking pictures and wandering, finally we settled in to watch a couple movies after dinner and cribbage.

New spaces...

I've finally got some pictures to post of my new space. I have to say, its quite beautiful and I'm thankful for it. Its incredibly close to the airport and about 15 minutes to down town. As you can see from the picture below its also a very fun space.


This is the view from my little deck/balcony. I have a top corner apartment which is so incredibly nice. Its also amazing to look out and see trees and hills everywhere.

My car even has a covered space below the deck.

This is the view from halfway up the stairs. There is a park across the street and access to one of the major bike paths about six blocks away.

I'm still getting used to the huge space that is my living room. Until this weekend I had mostly stayed in my room just out of habit (the living room here is the size of my entire Seattle apartment).

The boxes I've brought so far are finally almost all unpacked and I have a call in to movers to see if I can bring the rest of it down at a reasonable price. Otherwise, its off to uhaul I go. This shot shows my temporary dining room situation and a sliver of the kitchen which is also good sized.
