Being Home for Thanksgiving...

It was fun to be home for Thanksgiving! Its hard to believe that the year has gone so quickly. I did get some fun pictures of grandpa and the group.

Apparently though, I am not the only one who wasn't ready for Thanksgiving... The flowers and strawberries had survived their first freeze being home and were still very much growing when I got there. Note: the strawberry container below (the berries are mostly on the lower left side).

Grandpa cleaned up the yard and house before I got home. So, there were only a few flowers left for taking pictures but it was beautiful!

Most people don't believe me when I say the church is in our backyard but here's a picture of our trees and flag with the church.

This is the birdhouse I built when I was at camp in the second grade. Shockingly, it still hangs in the apple tree... I don't think it has its original nails though :o)

The Parting of Fall Leaves

It is that time of year when the leaves say goodbye and become beautiful displays of God's creativity...

... I am a little late with this post but wanted to make sure that I got some pictures of the beautiful fall leaves posted before we missed them completely...

Some of these are from around Greenlake...

...Some are from the Taco Time Drive Through...

This one is from the sculpture park.

These are also from Greenlake.

Even the ivy is showing the beautiful fall colours.
