Being Home for Thanksgiving...

It was fun to be home for Thanksgiving! Its hard to believe that the year has gone so quickly. I did get some fun pictures of grandpa and the group.

Apparently though, I am not the only one who wasn't ready for Thanksgiving... The flowers and strawberries had survived their first freeze being home and were still very much growing when I got there. Note: the strawberry container below (the berries are mostly on the lower left side).

Grandpa cleaned up the yard and house before I got home. So, there were only a few flowers left for taking pictures but it was beautiful!

Most people don't believe me when I say the church is in our backyard but here's a picture of our trees and flag with the church.

This is the birdhouse I built when I was at camp in the second grade. Shockingly, it still hangs in the apple tree... I don't think it has its original nails though :o)

That is a good picture of him.
Looks like the weather wasn't too cold. We got a soaking in LA the last couple of days. Sort of a post-Thanksgiving flood.

Everything we are starts and ends with family! These are terrific photos - postcard perfect. But most of all I am thankful for your love for your Grandpa, and his for you. Keep that sharp eye and quick shutter finger snapping!
